The first official US holiday of 2004 (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day), and I hadn't seen it coming so I failed to plan any extravagant vacation for it.  I decided to take a trip to the SF Zoo with a bunch of friends from church where I got to see the giraffes, elephants, monkeys, lions, tigers, hippopotamus', birds, reptiles, bears, koalas, seals, rhinos, and the like.

Giraffe:

PJae touching the giraffe's butt...nearly got us kicked out for that.

Peacock:

Polar bear:

PJ: "Omigosh the seal's in the water!"

Me: "The water must be freezing! I"ll save it!"

Mars: "I am surrounded by morons."
