Right after we completed our junior year, we decided to go on
a trip to Lake Havasu! So we packed our things, loaded up the boat, jet-skiis,
and playing equipment, and headed out early on the morning of the 14th of May
for a week of fun, fun, and some more fun.
Well here we go...

One of the first things we did when we got there was to prove
to the world that we had actually been there. So naturally, we
"marked" our territory. This picture was actually taken in the
middle of the lake where there was a sandbar, so that you could stand and look
like you were walkin' (or pissin') on water. Cool, huh?

What a bunch of bad-a$$ looking muthas.

Kickin' it on the sandbar was cool for a while, but
eventually we decided it was some time for somethin' else. May we
recommend some watersports perhaps? |

Once the sun set, we left our
festivities and carried on the evening running errands and basically kickin'
back. We made took a trip to the local supermarket for some more food for
the week, and Kurt found a new way to have fun...
As
you can see, he was having quite a bit of fun taming the wild animal.
Little did he realize that it would result in disastrous consequences...
Shanan:
Uh...Kurt? You okay man? Kurt: (Groaning)
...please...must...make...the horsey...submit... Well
one afternoon, we decided to end our lake fun a little early and took a small
hike through the nearby hills.

Awwww.... =]

Well although I thought we were having plenty of fun,
the guys suggested that we find something new to do. Some of them
had jumped off of various cliffs and such and thought it would be a good
idea to do that again. |

Preston:
"Hey that sounds like a great idea!" Me:
"Umm...yeah...sure...I enjoy jumping off of tall objects into cold
water...yeah..."
While riding along in the boat, we found a nifty little rope
swing. So naturally we decided to use it to our advantage.
The guys: "Hmmm...well that was fun! Maybe we
should find something higher to jump off of..."
Me: ...
The guys: "Hey look! There's a tower out on
the edge of the river...we should jump off of that!"
Me: ...ummm...
(Example of peer pressure)

Nonetheless, we climbed up the tower, smiled for the camera,
and went for a little jump...

It was, needless to say, breathtaking.

The guys: "Hmmm...well that was fun! Maybe we
should find something even higher to jump off of..."
Me: ...
The guys: "Hey look! There's a frickin'
cliff! We should jump off of that!"
Me: (voice a little shaky) ...ummm...okay...

Now lemme tell ya'...from the top of the cliff, the drop looks
like it must have been at least double the height in contrast to viewing it from
the boat.
I almost had a heart attack.

Geronimo!

Just kickin' it on the boat...

Ahh...what a perfect way to end the day.
