Seattle Road Trip!
As fate would have it, I had decided to buy a new car. Now don't get me
wrong...I still love Silver very very much, and I am not getting rid of her
(like I do with women). Ha ha ha!!
Seriously though...after a few months of searching, I had made the decision
to buy a beautiful vintage red 1993 RX-7 Touring model from a private seller in
the Seattle area. That's right...I now own two RX-7s. Life is good.
=]
On the 14th of December, the last day of finals, I took a flight up with
Preston to make the exchange. After checking out the car and making sure
it was EXACTLY what I wanted, we took advantage of the situation and decided to
take a road trip down the west coast in my new car. It took us about three
days and two nights to get back home at a comfortable pace.
Needless to say, Red and I got to know each other very well. Tee hee!!

Proud new father!

Cruisin'...cooooool...

Artistic, huh?

Picture of the sunset together...awww...

The beautiful mountains of
Washington...er...Oregon...er...northern California....
Crap...I can't even remember.
On a side note, Red blew her motor
exactly one week after I bought it. I have a lot of different
speculations as to the cause, but the most logical explanation I have is
this:
Silver, the older sister (born in '86), was getting
quite jealous of my new found fling. Red, born in '93, is Silver's
younger sister and is obviously a bit more flamboyant than big sis
Silver. So Silver, being the conniving clever one, was taunting
Red while I wasn't around, pushing her over the limit. Red was
obviously easily manipulated and a little less coordinated since she was
so young and overexerted herself one day trying to impress me.
*sigh*
What?? Do you have a better explanation???
