Seattle Road Trip!

As fate would have it, I had decided to buy a new car.  Now don't get me wrong...I still love Silver very very much, and I am not getting rid of her (like I do with women).  Ha ha ha!!

Seriously though...after a few months of searching, I had made the decision to buy a beautiful vintage red 1993 RX-7 Touring model from a private seller in the Seattle area.  That's right...I now own two RX-7s.  Life is good.

On the 14th of December, the last day of finals, I took a flight up with Preston to make the exchange.  After checking out the car and making sure it was EXACTLY what I wanted, we took advantage of the situation and decided to take a road trip down the west coast in my new car.  It took us about three days and two nights to get back home at a comfortable pace.

Needless to say, Red and I got to know each other very well.  Tee hee!!

Pretty, ain't she?

The beautiful mountains of Washington...er...Oregon...er...northern California....

Crap...I can't even remember.

On a side note, Red blew her motor exactly one week after I bought it.  I have a lot of different speculations as to the cause, but the most logical explanation I have is this:

Silver, the older sister (born in '86), was getting quite jealous of my new found fling.  Red, born in '93, is Silver's younger sister and is obviously a bit more flamboyant than big sis Silver.  So Silver, being the conniving clever one, was taunting Red while I wasn't around, pushing her over the limit.  Red was obviously easily manipulated and a little less coordinated since she was so young and overexerted herself one day trying to impress me.

*sigh*

What??  Do you have a better explanation???
